A trailblazer in Cantonese opera Instiling new elements into a traditional art form

A unique treasure of the traditional Lingnan culture, Cantonese opera became the first art form of Hong Kong to be inscribed onto the UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
