Description

  • With a view to enhance the language proficiency of its graduates, the University has introduced Chinese and English language subjects to the curriculum of all its full-time Bachelor's degree and sub-degree programmes starting from the 1997/1998 academic year

  • The annual reports on the Chinese and English language enhancement programmes are provided in Document A and B respectively, while the expenditure reports for the UGC Block Grant and Earmarked Language Enhancement Grant (LEG) are provided in Document C

  • This report will provide a full account of all the mandatory language programmes, language enhancement programmes and other related initiatives which the University has provided to its students in the 2001/2002 academic year
