"The Furama Hotel was one of Hong Kong's top hotels in the 1970s, and was reknowned for having the first revolving rooftop restaurant in the city. The project comprised the construction of a 33-storey hotel complex with 515 guest rooms. A metal dish was shipped from Japan and fitted at the roof to accomodate the revolving restaurant. Demolition of the Furama Hotel took place in 2001, and was replaced by AIA Central." -- Hip Hing website
