  • This document is the third in the current series of academic development plans for the Polytechnic, the first of this series being the Polytechnic Development Plan (October 1975) , and the second the Triennial Academic Plan 1978-81 (February 1977)

    The 1975 Plan was concerned not only with development during the 1976-78 Biennium, but also with the establishment of academic policy-guidelines for the decade up to the mid 1980's. These guidelines were followed in the 1977 Plan, and in many areas translated into specific development proposals; the latter, where approved, are currently in the process of implementation, a process which in some cases will continue into the 1981-84 Triennium
