  • This submission represents the development of the proposal. It comprises two parts - a main text and a set of appendices. The main text describes the essential features of the course proposal. The appendices include detailed syllabuses, the curricula vitae of staff of the Swire School of Design, the recent report by the Departmental Moderator, a proposal to the Industrial Development Board of the Hong Kong Government for the creation of a Product Innovation and Design Unit, and an outline of the School's Diploma Course, which it is envisaged would be a foundation course for the great majority of entrants to the degree programme
