  • One of the objectives for establishing the Hong Kong Polytechnic in August 1972 was to provide tertiary education and practical training for students who would then go on to take their place in Hong Kong industry and commerce

    The present survey, which was completed in early November 1975, showed that over 59% of the 1975 graduates and Associateship candidates were employed in the commercial and industrial sectors of the community
