    27th December 2006

    Dear Mr. Cheng,

Ref: Thank you for your Support for the International Festival of Inclusive Arts

On behalf of the Executive Committee and members of the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADA), we write to thank you for your generous support for the International Festival of Inclusive Arts (IFIA) by being the lyricist of IFIA theme song. A graceful yet easy-to-remember tune speaks better than a thousand words in bringing across our message of inclusion to the public.

Apart from our success in breaking the Guinness Record as well as providing exchange end cooperation for people with different abilities to showcase their artistic creativity, we are most pleased that the Festival is able to pass the message of integration to the general public. Allow me to share with you some of the encouraging comments from our audience:

"The Epic Theatre show is truly wonderful not only of is highly artistic level but also the meaningful message”. This echoes with what one audience member shared at the meet-the-artist session that through Epic Arts' performance, inclusion is not only an aspiration to hope for but is something that can actually happen through the arts.

Another one commented that “藝術節讓不同的人為藝術開拓不同的領域,令人同樣的興奮,融合而成奪目的光彩。用心表演,用心欣賞,大家的心都在跳。 ”

We will continue ADA’s vision in building an inclusive society art participation of all, and initiating activities that will facilitate persons with disability to enjoy the beauty and vitality of arts. Your staunch support has helped us tremendously in realizing our vision, especially in the area of uplifting the artist excellence of artists with disability.
