- Description
"The existing Queen’s Pier, built in 1953-1954, was the second Queen’s Pier in Hong Kong. The first one, located near the present-day carpark at Edinburgh Place, was completed in 1925. The old Queen’s Pier was demolished to make way for the reclamation of Victoria Harbour in the 1950s-60s. The existing pier was constructed at the new harbourfront, replacing the old one as a royal and public pier." -- The Antiquities Advisory Board website
