  • In mid May 2019 PolyU's first Historian-in-Residence, Dr Joseph Ting, led PolyU students on eight day exploration to Xinjiang, visiting important historical and religious sites such as the ancient city of Gaochang, Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, Qigexing Buddha Temple Relic Site, Subash Buddhist Ruins and Kizil Caves.
